National Mustang Day
All Mustang enthusiasts know April 17, 1964, is the birth date of the Mustang and when it was first shown to the automotive world at the New York World’s Fair. On this special day each year, the Mustang world unites by getting Mustang owners on the road for destination outings. We’ll celebrate Mustangs all month long with special social media posts, starting with April’s Car of the Month (the 1965 Ford Mustang K-Code Convertible), and most certainly there will be Mustangs rallying in our parking lot, since the Newport Car Museum devotes an entire gallery of 19 cars to Ford/Shelby. And yes, there’s hearty representation of the world’s most famous pony car. It’s Boss!
