Just short of 1200 guests visited the Newport Car Museum on Father’s Day, and from the happy faces on Dads, Moms, Grandpas, Grandmas and kids, it showed that time together as a family is the best gift of all! With 70,000 square feet of exhibit area and six galleries for 75+ cars, there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the up-close-and-personal engagement with all the Museum has to offer.

The Newport Car Museum presents its cars as art, displaying them in six galleries that use theatrical lighting, specially commissioned large-format artwork and award-winning videos to tell the story of automotive history as it pertains to Ford/Shelby, Corvettes, World Cars, Fin Cars, Mopars and American Muscle Cars.  The first round on the driving simulators is on us, and there’s an awesome gift shop, too!

“We feel much like the other attractions in Newport in that we are a destination that can be enjoyed by people of all ages,” said Founder Gunther Buerman, “and we make sure that you do not have to love cars to enjoy the Newport Car Museum experience.”
